Techniques I use

Counselling - some people just prefer to chat about it and that's ok. I provide a number of interventions such as EMDR - a technique that uses the bi-lateral eye movements from REM sleep, which is the brain's natural healing process, Havening Techniques which involves light touch that produces Delta (or brain) waves that switch off the triggers of distress deep in the Amygdala (a part of the Brain), EFT tapping that involves tapping on meridian points whilst releasing emotions , Gestalt that involves being able to have a conversation with someone who is not present, Hypnosis that involves relaxing the body to the point where the conscious chatter (or internal dialogue) is quiet and the subconscious listens to helpful post-hypnotic therapeutic suggestions that come directly from your hopes and desires in our sessions together. You may be struggling within your relationship or feeling isolated without a relationship, whatever your situation please get in touch so that we can explore how I can help you to move forward and feel well.

Sex Therapy

Whether there are historical problems or relationship problems, I am able to talk frankly with you regarding your sexual situation. Either using talk therapy or a number of modalities that I offer such as EMDR, Havening Techniques, Gestalt, Hypnosis that together with counselling help with releasing emotion, gaining clarity, and moving forward. Some of the issues that I can help with are erectile dysfunction, performance anxiety, lack of desire, too much desire, unwanted fetish, past abuse, identity issues, body image, sexual anxiety. If you cross-dress, I am conversant and comfortable with exploring and working through any personal challenges or relationship issues. If you are going through a sex change, I can provide counsel and support whether you are contemplating it, awaiting your op date, or post -op. I am able to help you to release emotions, gain confidence and clarity, and to build self-esteem. My mission is to help you to graft a way towards a place of peace and wellbeing.
